Each day beginning Dec. 2nd, we will release a 6" block for you. When you purchase a kit from us we are providing the pattern for FREE, the patterns will come to you automatically in a downloadable form each day to the email on your account.
If you are NOT purchasing a kit from us, but still wish to have the downloadable patterns, they will be available for $2 per day.
We will be offering this pattern as a downloadable item ONLY at this time. Once the Stitch Along is complete, we will be releasing this as a full pattern.
Kits will also be available, and you may choose any of the combinations below:
8 yds Background Fabric-this is the fabric we used, you may prefer to use something you have, or you may order from us.
Cotton Only-this will include the fabrics for only the setting blocks, you will have the option of either solids or a scrappy version (no background) Solid version is 2 colors, Scrappy Version is 24 colors. This option is for those of you who do not do wool appliqué, this quilt will be beautiful either way!!!
Wool Appliques Only-this includes all of the wools needed for the appliqué blocks.
Cotton and Appliques Full Kit-this includes the cotton AND wools for the entire quilt, including background! Your choice of either a solid or scrappy version.
We used the following threads for our quilt:
#12 weight: O575, O196, JP11, 4 OR 5, V106, H202, P4, 122 OR O122, O519 and 1
#8 weight: O775, 1, O575, P12, M81, O78, O506 and O519
#5 weight: O775, H202, M81, O575, 4 OR 5, O196, 122 OR O122, 1 and P12

Countdown to christmas
I don't know why I was on the fence about ordering this kit. Ordered the full solid color version, Glad I did! The kit is great! Have started it and it makes it so much easier to watch Lisa's "how to videos" for this novice wool stitcher.

Countdown to Christmas Stitch-Along
I had the Countdown to Christmas kit in my cart for a little while before the stitch along started, got side tracked with Christmas prep and work and forgot about it. Then I watched the first video with Lisa, and ordered it. Sooooo glad I did. I keep sneaking peaks at the fabric and the wool, and will start it right after the holidays. seeing the blocks others have finished and posted and watching Lisa's videos was very motivating for me. Just what I needed after a tough year.

Count down to Christmas
The kit was great. I personally like a bit clearer blighter colors for Christmas so I’ve purchased some other greens and reds to do my project. And as long as you’re asking I think the reason for the season should be featured in one of the blocks! The manger with baby Jesus!
