Product Description
Note from the designer: "This little Yuletide design can be finished as a pincushion or an ornament. The little colonial woman is holding a pineapple, which is a symbol of hospitality. Inside the chart is a portion of a poem by E.E. Cummings that inspired the design: "Little tree, little silent Christmas tree... I will comfort you because you smell so sweetly..." My original idea was for this to be a sweet gift for a friend visiting for the holidays, or attached to a welcome wreath."
Pattern is stitched on 36 ct. Creek Bed Brown by R&R Reproductions using Classic Colorworks and Weeks Dye Works. Snow chenille by Lady Dot Creates was used for the trim. Stitch count is 75w x 60h.
