Product Description
This is a red, white, and blue-themed monthly quilt-along that runs February 1st, 2024 through June 1st, 2024, for a total of five block releases. Blocks are $5.00 for each pattern release download (downloads will expire after 30 days after purchase, so please be sure to download and save them to your computer or device A.S.A.P.!). Blocks will be released on the 1st day of each month by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, unless the first falls on a weekend or holiday. In that case, blocks will be posted on the next business day by 5:00 p.m. CST.
Just like O’ Say Can You Sew One, O’ Say Can You Sew 2 is what I call a “Mystery Quilt-Along.” This means exactly what it sounds like – the final quilt design and appearance are a secret and will be kept under lock and key until the very end! What I can tell you is that the quilt will measure approximately 96″ x 96″ and that it will require about 10 yards of backing fabric.
If you'd like to make your quilt in the same colorway I am making mine, you will need a Fat Quarter Bundle of my American Gatherings II Fabric line, and 8 yds of background fabric. You can find both items HERE!

Oh Say Can You Sew Two
The pattern was easy to purchase and download. I find it confusing. The first step has you cut and sew three sets of eight units. Is that the total for the clue, or do you repeat that for each fabric? The second step has you make several more of these units, and I think you sew them into blocks and set the units from step one aside for a future clue, but after reading through the pattern several times, I am still not sure. Plus, how much background do we need? Every list of fabric requirements gives a different amount. If you purchase all the clues, this is a $25 pattern. For that amount, there shouldn't be so much guesswork involved. I enjoy mystery quilts, but so far, this one has me feeling kind of lost.
