The arm and bed of the machine are constructed of aluminum die-casting to ensure industrial-quality sewing. The larger work area enables maneuverability of large quilts. An auxiliary table extends the work area to 23" to allow for even larger projects. More Features include: 1,500 maximum sewing speed for high- performance. Presser foot adjustments. Push lever automatic needle threader. Automatic needle up/down button. Knee lift lever raises foot to 9mm. A drop feed dog switch. 11x23 extended work table area. 6x9 arm space to the right of the needle. US Warranty is 5 years mechanical, 2 years electrical and 90 days adjustments on defects in material or workmanship. Non US warranty- 30 days parts and labor. We all bought this machine for doing our own machine quilting, but it so great for piecing we are doing all of our quilting on it. I drag out the Bernina if i need to do a zig-zag or buttonhole, which isn't very often. These machines are a great deal! You will love it! You may find this machine out there in cyberspace a little cheaper, but support your quilt shop! This machine is easily serviced by a good machine repair place. It is strictly a mechanical machine. Hardly any plastic.
