Daurmont is a beautiful muslin and wool appliqué quilt that was named in memory of my husbands mother, it was her Maiden name. This quilt would be a great block of the month or sewing group project. The shapes are large and easy to stitch. The quilt will be a nice 72" x 72" when finished. You will need 5 yards of fabric for the backing.

Daurmont pattern
It would be very helpful if older patterns were rewritten to be easier to do. Directions are a bit confusing as to how many of rash piece need to be traced and cut. The format you use now is so much better.
